The name Qe̜d Strad Vrët is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Qe̜d Strad Vrët was founded by Trîlê Gunvrish, who was culturaly Wood Elven.
Climate
Qe̜d Strad Vrët has a yearly average temperature of 35°C (95°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 39°C (102°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a hot 31°C (87°F). Qe̜d Strad Vrët receives an average of 67 cm/y (26 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Qe̜d Strad Vrët covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 25148 m (-3392 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Qe̜d Strad Vrët was founded durring the late 18th century in early winter of the year 1694, by Trîlê Gunvrish. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Trîlê Gunvrish.
Qe̜d Strad Vrët was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 18th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Qe̜d Strad Vrët is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Qe̜d Strad Vrët is buildings are arranged within a network of narrow baked earthen streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. Qe̜d Strad Vrët's would-be-castle fortifications are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.
A look around Qe̜d Strad Vrët makes you worry someone might stab you in a dark ally for your boots. It’s not filthy, or dark, but the smiles seem strained, the locals seem to glare daggers in eachothers backs a little too much, and everyone is armed at all times. You may want to keep an eye on your valuables, and make sure you don’t wind up in any position of power.

Cultural Notes
Qe̜d Strad Vrët's locals despise outsiders. For some “outsiders” may be natives of foreign lands, while others might have a grudge against anyone from outside the community. These locals have an active loathing, and the outsiders allowed to trade or interact with them do so at a heavy disadvantage.
Qe̜d Strad Vrët's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is admittedly strange and non-linear style rooted in defiance of symmetrical shapes. It championed the creation of buildings with a unique visual appearance. the structural norms of classic buildings and deforms or moves away from elementary architectural principles. By including non-linear designs processed into its buildings and favoring fragmentation, this style expressed a form of controlled chaos. Its buildings appear out-of-the-ordinary, draw the eye in immediately and sometimes create a feeling of strangeness. These distorted shapes and structure are not reserved to the building’s outer facade, they destabilize interior elements too, favoring minimalism and play on people’s perceptions by injecting a futuristic touch.
In Qe̜d Strad Vrët there is a constant smell of overcooked presumably ethnic food.

Qe̜d Strad Vrët's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves square dance to channel Chronomancy energies of tier 2 via oath swearing.
